Okkie jooster adventures camp 

The okkie jooster camp was amazing, I got the chance to be in a location receiving the most highest rainfall in south Africa. The atmosphere was so resurrecting from day one, in every single day there was many things to learn.At the camp I had the time to know my colleagues better to be able to connect and bond with them, most importantly I had the chance to work with them as a team to accomplish numerous tasks. I also learned that by analyzing certain organism that occur in a river actually determine whether a river is healthy or not, frogs being one of the key indicators of a healthy river because they breath using their skin. On camp we also went hiking which was extremely exhausting but fun. Different types plants where observed there the protea plants being one of the prominent plants colonizing that area, the most exciting fact about protea plants is that they are fire adapt meaning the fire helps them grow and reproduce. We also learned about Greek methodology history one night which was interesting. On the long walk of hiking we cached insects and classified them using the dichotomous key which was one of the valuable skills I learned  on camp .The food on camp was on point i enjoyed every meal and also learned recipes on how to make some of the food we ate their.
